NEW WEBSITE OPEN, April 18, 2008

Welcome to the new CalsPortfolio website. It has been a long time in the making, considering I started the planning of it in October, 2007. Nothing seems to work as smoothly as you hope or plan, and each phase of the development posed new challenges.

As a result the old site had not been updated since fall of 2007. All of the new images since then can be found in the current year -- that was easier than trying to figure out which pieces I did in 2007 and which in 2008!

For the techies out there, you will recognize that it is not that difficult a site to build -- in fact it uses what some of you would consider "old" technology--frames. But, when you are confronted with learning an entirely new program (Dreamweaver), it seemed like the easiest path to take. OK, that is a slight exageration... I actually had worked with Dreamweaver 7 years ago, but if you are a techie, you can imagine that the current program has almost no similarities to a seven-year old program, so it was like starting from scratch.

It still is not finished. The most complicated part is the Store, and that has yet to be started. But, at least it was far enough along to "debut" all the rest of the site.

If you find broken links, or other problems, as you go through the site, I would appreciate if you drop me a line (CalsPortfolio@hotmail.com) to let me know where you experienced the problem. I have tried to beta test the site, but there are literally hundreds of inter-links, and I am sure I have missed some! All help would be appreciated so that the I can fix them and that the next person visiting will have a more trouble-free experience.
